More notes for the future: click through links for pictures on tumblr posts don’t work when accessed via RSS. And editing a tumblr post doesn’t cause a feed to look “new.” Now you know. And now you know why I’m posting this on tumblr. This is actually a “plunger” post.
Just a note to myself for future reference: remember to scale pictures before posting them to tumblr. Oh, and use short URLs for Twitter while I am at it. Otherwise the whole sidebar thing turns into a dog’s breakfast.

Note to self: don’t use FeedBurner with SimplePie. I think that was my problem with why items were not showing up in the sidebar. We will see.

Tumbling from the Sidekick
Looks like the Tumblr site works well on the Sidekick. So now I have one less excuse and one more tool to use to keep the site fresh.
A new toy.
So I’m thinking Tumblr might be something keen to use to keep the blog fresh between actual posts.
